Nanotypos in the 83rd Thessaloniki International Fair

The company NANOTYPOS, which provides specialized services and unique applications of nanotechnology, declares its presence in the biggest exhibition event of the country and one of the most important in Southeastern Europe, held from 8 to 16 September 2018 at the 83rd Thessaloniki International Fair.

In a theme park with more than 100 newcomers, at NIP 12, NANOTYPOS expects all visitors to get acquainted with the innovative and unique nanotechnology products and services they provide.

EU project ”PULSE” kick off meeting

PULSE aims to develop an unparalleled complete laser system with higher-than-ever output power and speed. This system will have the ability to cut even the hardest materials used in car construction, texture materials at unimaginable speeds and weld dissimilar materials for multiple fabrication applications. Ultimately this will result in reduced waste and energy, positively impacting both the economy and the environment. 

Visit of Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis to Nanotypos

The office of Nanotypos, based in Technopoli Thessaloniki, was visited by the opposition leader President Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis during his visit to the Thessaloniki International Exhibition. During the visit Mr. Mitsotakis was briefed on the company’s research activities, innovative products and explained the advanced methods of nanoscale construction of smart surfaces. At the same time, they exchanged views on technology issues and its applications and discussed ways of financially supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.

The need to strengthen the education on nanotechnology sciences through the co-operation of private companies with national research bodies was pointed to Mr. Mitsotakis. Particular emphasis was given on the important role of the KEPA-ANEM Center (www.e-kepa.gr) in the rapid and efficient mediation of the Center in co-funded projects.

Mr. Nikos Pappas visited Technopolis

The Minister of Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Information, Mr.Nikos Pappas, visited Technopolis in Thessaloniki and participated in the joint meeting of the Technopolis Board of Directors and the Software Development Cluster Management Committee. With this opportunity Mr. Pappas visited Nanotypos offices where he was informed about our products, running RTD projects and had the occasion to see our innovative nanomanufacturing line.
